When you become a parent, you get all kinds of unsolicited “warnings”. Say goodbye to sleep! Your kid will only eat chicken nuggets from now on! Potty training is harder than you think! But no one warns you that your living space will no longer be your own. From the moment we brought my daughter home from the hospital four years ago, she has been the head of our roost.
