A final match between Dmitry Andreikin and Richard Rapport started at the FIDE Grand Prix leg in Belgrade. Andreikin had the white pieces in the first game, which saw the Scotch Defence. After early multiple exchanges, the game went on quite smoothly. A draw by repetition was agreed in the rook endgame on the 37th move. The return game will be played on 13 March. Official website
