The HK417 is a German Battle Rifle variant of the HK416 Assault Rifle. It is unlocked at rank 78, or it can be purchased with credits. The HK417 is a dual-purpose battle rifle/designated marksman rifle, created by Heckler & Koch as a larger-caliber HK416, chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO. Like the HK416, it is a gas-operated, selective fire rifle with a rotating bolt. The HK417 is intended for use in roles where the HK416's smaller caliber would otherwise be insufficient.
